Jotform Training & Consultation

We train your team to manage, build, and automate Jotform independently - so you are not dependent on an outside consultant for every small change.

Generic Jotform tutorials cover the basics. Your team needs training on how Jotform works in the context of your specific setup - your forms, your integrations, your workflows, and your business processes. Every training session we deliver is tailored to your team's current skill level and the configuration they will actually be working with. After a session with us, your team can build, update, and manage your Jotform environment with confidence.

Training Tailored to Your Team and Your Platform

We work with teams at every level - from business owners who want to understand what Jotform can do, to operations staff who need to build and manage forms day to day, to IT and admin teams responsible for the full platform configuration.

Every session is built around your actual Jotform account. We use your forms, your workflows, and your integrations as the training material - not generic examples that your team then has to translate to their own situation. This means the knowledge sticks and your team can apply it immediately.

Training Topics and Sessions

Form Building Fundamentals

For teams who are new to Jotform or have been building forms without any structure, we cover the fundamentals: form elements, page layouts, field settings, required fields, thank you pages, and publishing options. We teach your team how to build clean, well-structured forms that are easy to manage and consistent in style.

Conditional Logic and Form Behaviour

Conditional logic is one of Jotform's most powerful features and one of the most commonly misused. We train your team on how to use conditions to show and hide fields, skip pages, change required status, route notifications, and control the flow of a multi-page form - and how to avoid the most common mistakes that cause forms to stop working.

Notification and Autoresponder Management

We train your team to manage their own notification emails and autoresponders - setting up the right recipients, writing notification content, configuring conditional sending, and using Jotform's email logs to check whether emails are being delivered correctly.

Jotform Integrations Management

We walk your team through how Jotform integrations work, how to connect new tools, how to check whether an integration is running correctly, and how to troubleshoot a connection that has stopped working. We cover the integrations your team is actually using, rather than a general overview of every available option.

Jotform Workflows and Approval Processes

For teams managing approvals, document routing, or multi-step processes, we train on Jotform Workflows - how to read and understand an existing workflow, how to make changes to approval steps and notification routing, and how to build simple workflows independently. The depth of this session is calibrated to your team's role and responsibility.

Jotform Tables and Submission Management

We train your team on Jotform Tables - how to view and manage submissions, filter and search records, create custom views, collaborate with other team members on submission data, and export records when needed. This is particularly useful for teams who use Jotform as a lightweight database or case management tool.

Jotform Sign and e-Signature Management

For teams using Jotform Sign for contracts, agreements, or consent forms, we train on how to send documents for signature, track signing status, manage reminders, and access completed documents and audit trails.

Admin and Account Management

For account owners and administrators, we cover workspace management, team permissions, plan limits, billing, and the settings that affect how the whole account operates. This session is designed for the person responsible for the Jotform account, not the day-to-day form builders.

How Our Training Sessions Work

1

One-on-One Sessions

For individual team members who need focused, role-specific training without working around a group schedule. Sessions run via video call and are tailored to the individual's responsibilities and current knowledge level.

2

Team Sessions

For groups who need training together - onboarding a new team to an existing Jotform setup, upskilling a department before a new process goes live, or getting everyone aligned on how the platform should be used. Sessions are interactive and structured around your team's specific questions and use cases.

3

Ongoing Consultation

For businesses that need an expert available on a regular basis rather than in one-off sessions. We offer ongoing consultation packages where your team can bring questions, request reviews of new builds, and get guidance on how to approach new requirements as they come up.

4

Documentation and Reference Materials

After every training session, we provide written documentation covering what was covered, how specific tasks are performed in your setup, and any reference materials your team will need going forward. This means the knowledge is accessible to new team members and does not disappear when the person who attended the session moves on.

Who Needs Jotform Training and Consultation

Jotform training and consultation is the right fit if any of the following applies to your situation.

Questions About Jotform
Training and Consultation

Do you train teams who are completely new to Jotform?

Yes. We calibrate every session to the starting point of your team. If your team has never used Jotform before, we start from the ground up. If they have been using it for years but have gaps in specific areas, we focus the session on those areas specifically.

Can training sessions be recorded for future reference?

Yes. We can record sessions so they can be used for future team member onboarding or as reference material. We also provide written documentation after every session covering the key points and procedures covered.

How long is a typical training session?

Most sessions run between 90 minutes and two hours. For larger teams or more complex topics, we sometimes split training across two sessions to avoid overloading participants. We agree on the structure before the session begins.

Can you train us on a Jotform setup that was built by someone else?

Yes. We review your existing setup before the session and use it as the basis for the training. If we identify issues with the current configuration during that review, we flag them separately so they can be addressed before or after the training.

What is the difference between a training session and an ongoing consultation package?

A training session is a focused, time-limited engagement on a specific set of topics. An ongoing consultation package gives your team access to an expert on a retainer basis - for questions, reviews, guidance, and troubleshooting as they come up over time. For teams actively using and building in Jotform, the ongoing package is usually more cost-effective than booking individual sessions each time a question arises.
